Welcome to the site of recently deceased Robert Edward Keedwell. A fine engineer, a funny man who always made his point clear. He had strong opinions and was not one to suffer fools.

A genius of an engineer, especially as he was unable to complete his schooling as a boy due to the wartime bombing of Liverpool and the surrounding area. Hard work and determination at night  school whilst working at Cammell Lairds in Birkenhead during the day enabled him to rise up quickly to the heights of Chief Engineer with Ellerman shipping.

A man full of engineering solutions, with a quick wit and an incredible turn of funny and unique phrase, yet wanted to keep just a few close friends around him. Not many people knew him well, so these pages are a tribute to the man we called Bob.  I hope these pages will enlighten you to his unique personality. He is deeply missed by all who really knew him well.
